Data Collected

As part of its mission, the Monaco Chamber of Shipping may collect the following personal data from its members and other individuals with whom it comes into contact:

At the request of a member company, additional information regarding its employees may be collected when necessary to provide the assistance and services offered by the Monaco Chamber of Shipping. In any case, only the necessary data will be processed by the Monaco Chamber of Shipping in accordance with the principle of data minimization.

It is specified that each member company remains responsible for the processing of the data it has collected itself and must comply with Law No. 1,565 of December 3, 2024.

Purpose of Processing and Legal Basis

Personal data is collected on a contractual basis and solely within the scope of the Monaco Chamber of Shipping’s mission, namely to support member shipping companies and to organize initiatives to defend and promote their interests. It is used to communicate with the data subject, including to provide information regarding economic, legal, and social developments in the Principality.

It may also be used to ensure the proper fulfillment of the mission and to address requests for assistance specifically entrusted to the Monaco Chamber of Shipping by the member company. As such, if certain clearly identified information is not provided, the Monaco Chamber of Shipping will be unable to carry out the mission entrusted to it.

This information is neither resold, shared, nor used for any other purposes. Under no circumstances will it be used for commercial solicitation or profiling.

Furthermore, the Monaco Chamber of Shipping may have a legitimate interest in processing the data you provide in order to respond to any questions within the scope of its mission, or to manage its website and compile anonymous statistics.
